LONDON: Two more British lawmakers have raised their voice against New Delhi’s barbarous restrictions including a 77-day lengthy curfew in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The British members of parliament (MPs) also expanded their full support for the Kashmiris right of self-determination whilst covering a conference staged to highlight the Kashmir problem on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Matt Rodda said it is unfortunate that people of Kashmir are under constant curfew for the past 77 days. He vowed to keep on becoming the voice of the Kashmiris.
“In this age of technology, cellular phones and internet are the need of the hour. I had been shocked to learn that eight million people in IOK have no access to internet for the past two and a half ever since the Indian government abrogated unique status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5,” MP Rodda added.

“If there’s not anything wrong in IOK then why schools and schools are closed [there]. Here is the biggest lie of the century spoken by India that the inhabited valley is ordinary,” he added.
Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Abdur Rashid Turabi underscored that India has taken the total Kashmiri direction into custody, which goes to demonstrate the magnitude of New Delhi’s writ in the disputed area.
“Kashmiris are fighting according to the UNSC resolutions, so therefore, the world community must take note of their individual rights abuses and come forward with a will to discover a permanent solution of the Kashmir dispute,” Turabi added.

Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) chairman and senior Hurriyat leader Altaf Ahmad Bhat also emphasized the sufferings of Kashmiris, stating, only fruit and handicrafts sectors suffered a reduction of $2 billion alone, although more than half a million people lost their jobs after the August 5 move.

“World should understand how India propagates lies that Article 370 was abrogated for the Profession development of IOK… the simple fact is that Kashmiris have resisted this choice by shutting their companies and have preferred to stay in their houses,” he said.

“This sends an open concept to the planet that sham Indian democracy has snatched their statehood. Kashmiris are fighting for a complete independence from the Indian principle,” Bhat added.
Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) President Raja Fahim Kayani expressed concerns that voices of Kashmiris are currently echoing in every city and village of the United Kingdom (UK).

“The Modi-led government is committing war crimes against humanity in IOK and UK must take notice of inhuman actions of Indian military establishment, which is behind the sufferings of innocent Kashmiris.
“The Indian military continously violates ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC) and regularly targets civilians about the AJK side,” said Kayani.
