European Union delegation to visit Indian occupied Kashmir tomorrow

A delegation of the European Union (EU) will visit Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK) on tomorrow to consider of this situation in the area following India’s decision to reverse Article 370 from its constitution.

The EU parliamentarians’ delegation arrived in India. They had been briefed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Security Advisor Ajit Dova about the Problem of Kashmir and the situation there after the abrogation of Article 370, ANI reported.

Following the conclusion IoK CM Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter Iltija Mufti tweeted out of her mother’s Twitter handle and said that can the Indian authorities allow US senators to visit the valley. “Won’t be shocked when Government of India is indulging in normalcy acrobatics again and orchestrating’normalcy’ certificates,” she tweeted.

Iltija added that she hopes that the European Parliament delegation have a chance to speak to civil society members, local press, doctors and the individuals. “The iron curtain between Kashmir and the planet has to be lifted and Government of India has to be held liable for pushing IoK into turmoil,” she added.

India imposed a curfew in Kashmir after stripping off the status given to the valley. Internet and pre-paid connections have been suspended with several politicians put under house arrest, in the area.
