Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Nawaz Sharif will most likely travel abroad due to his treatment on Sunday or Monday, a private TV channel reported on Friday.
He said the former prime minister could get permission to leave abroad for treatment by Saturday.
Rasheed said PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif will accompany the former prime minister to London. He added Maryam Nawaz will not be able to go with her father.
The railways minister said the National Accountability Bureau would consider Nawaz’s application and will grant approval to him to get flying from the country.
In light of the deteriorating health, it’s very likely that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) head Nawaz Sharif’s name will be removed from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Earlier, at a meeting of PML-N leaders that was held at Jati Umra, it was determined that Nawaz Sharif will travel abroad due to his treatment. For its purpose, the PML-N leaders have filed a request to remove his name in the ECL.
The petition has allegedly been received by the Punjab government. The Punjab government has delivered the request to interior ministry that forwarded it to National Accountability Bureau for further procedure.
Nawaz Sharif’s health deteriorated after the platelet count in his own body started to decline. The physicians injected platelets to his body nevertheless his health couldn’t improve.
