Sindh Is Not Banning The SWVL,Airlift

“The news of banning SWVL & Airlift is wrong,” said Wahab in a tweet. The advisor to CM Sindh further said that the provincial government is in process of introducing a law and will become the first state to recognize and regulate such matters.

“On the contrary, the Government of Sindh is in the process of introducing a law regulating those private ventures after consulting all stakeholders. Hopefully we will become the first state to recognize and regulate such enterprises,” he added.

It is important to notify that the Sindh Transport Department sent a notice to the company’Airlift’ and’SWVL’ from Karachi that public transport could not be allowed without a path permit.

Speaking on the occasion, Airlift Director Meher Haider said that they’ll meet all the requirements set by Sindh government, solving traffic problems in Karachi and traveling with dignity is a priority.Maher Haider said that being a Pakistani company, the company’s revenue will not go out from the nation, and its achievement would curtail nation’s import bill.
