IT Ministry dedicated to digitally transforming country into knowledge based economy

Pakistan’s ICT sector had surpassed US$10 billion mark with more than 74 million broadband users.

Addressing the H3C opening service, he said that the occasion was yet another example of government’s business friendly policies and Ministry of IT & Telecom’s facilitative approach for attracting overseas investors in the tech industry.

“I need to appreciate the management of H3C Company for realizing the potential of Pakistan as an emerging market and expect that it’s going to grow its operation from the nation on strategic level,” he said.

The Minister said that Pakistan possesses immense potential specially from the information communication technologies (ICT) industry and companies such as Huawei, ZTE, Nokia, Ericsson and Cisco have a majority of their global workers acquired from Pakistan which exactly explains the quality and ability of skilled human capital available on competitive basis for companies such as H3C to use this potential not just for local consumption but also for its international operations.
