ISLAMABAD: The government respects the decision of the court, said Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, on Saturday.
Firdous explained that the authorities saw the Lahore High Court’s conclusion with respect and could provide a reply when the court issued its comprehensive verdict on the topic.
The government’s position was that the fine levied on Nawaz was done by the court rather than the government ,” explained Firdous. The authorities had retained the bond because of the fine’s affliction.
The Lahore High Court permitted to eliminate former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s title at the Exit Control List without the prerequisites for a time period of four weeks.
Firdous reported that the authorities storyline wasn’t predicated on sick intentions. She stated the conclusion of the LHC couldn’t be considered a victory for one side or conquer of another one.
This is not a victory or defeat for anyone–it’s a question of rule of law and constitution, she said.
